Name: Daisy Annabel

Age: 27 (and a half) months

Achievements: Cooking my dolly’s lunch. Now we’re in our new house I am finally allowed to play with the present I received for my second birthday, it’s a kitchen. Woo Hey! Now I have plenty of toy food, but really that is so dull. When my parents cook they make a mess, so I think I should make a mess. Much to mum’s horror Dad let me play with remnants of my lunch, beans and pasta. (Yes I agree an odd lunch, but Dad cooked it.) I thought I’d reheat it for my dolls. The dolls thought it was delicious. Though I did hear Mum complain to Dad that she now had to wash up all my saucepans as well as the grown up ones. Really she is a bore sometimes.

Developments: One thing that Mum can do that Dad can’t is sing. She is always singing round the house and for Laurie and I. Now I love music and will happily sing at the top of my voice no matter where I am. My favourite songs are my very own mash-up of Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star with Baa Baa Black Sheep, or the Wheels on the Bus. I particularly like singing because it always makes my mum smile, no matter what kind of day we’re having.

What a monkeyish face! Maybe dried pasta and raw veg for the kitchen?
