Alexander Wang’s H&M Collection – Hit or Miss?

Alexander Wang’s collection for H&M is due to hit UK stores tomorrow, highlighting the massive influence the ‘sports’ trend is having on our dressing. I love H&M’s collections, designer goods at a snip of the price, but, is it wearable? Rihanna undeniably looks amazing, however the idea of revealing my stomach post pregnancy fills me with horror & a fitted dress would show off my double tyre (yes double courtesy of the c-section). So which pieces will I be rushing out to buy?

AW Scuba Bag £69.99

Scuba Rucksack only £69.99 & seriously practical. Perfect for walks around the park trying to get baby Daisy to sleep! (Photo H&M)

Wang Scuba Top only £34.99, ok so this is short, but worn over a loose white vest with black skinnys, this will remind my friends that I haven't forgotten what fashion looks like!

Yet again Alexander Wang has delivered a cutting edge range that is both ultra modern, but also classic with its neutral pallet of grey, white & black. There are some great finds in the collection if you ignore the body con dresses & crop tops, after all we are not all twenty- somethings with washboard stomachs!

The collection goes on sale online at 9am on Thursday 6th November.

Great blog, I can’t wait to read more style tips for mums that aren’t about wrap dresses and sensible shoes.

Wow i’m amazed you’ve had time to set this up midst the madness of having a new baby! I like the idea of finding out about stylist yet practical clothes for mums. My style changed so much after my first son and it’s taken me a while to find my groove again (and i’m still not there and in need of style tips).
