This year Christmas has come early for Beth! She had lovely long hair until the age of 13. First came the classic chewing-gum-in-hair disaster that she decided to fix herself with a pair of scissors. Clearly the jagged crazy cut wasn’t going to work so it was her mum’s turn with the scissors next, resulting in a kind of wonky bob that she refers to as her ‘mushroom hair’, she said “I have very thick hair which should never be worn short without the use of hair straighteners, which weren’t around as much 20 years ago!” They couldn’t afford the hairdressers so the mushroom remained until it grew out.
