I Am Deadly Serious

How has your week been? Here, Daisy’s been sick, literally, and Dr. Husband has been in Paris so I’ve felt like a bird in a cage. I am truly longing for the weekend. But I’m getting side tracked. Here’s my latest instalment of building my ethical summer wardrobe. So far we’ve had statement sandals from Iris, white on white embroidery from Dilli Grey, a pinafore dress from P.i.C Style, a bright yellow skirt from Papu and most recently the oversized shirt dress from Freida Sand. So what’s next?

Deadly T – The Mini Post Apparel

Now no wardrobe is complete without a monochrome T, and I’ve chosen this “Deadly” batwing T from The Mini Post Apparel. The brains behind this T, is lovely mama, Orlagh and founder of über cool kids fashion & lifestyle blog The Mini Post. She brings us good Irish design with a touch of irreverence and not a four-leaf clover in sight! Of course all her garments are ethically produced and made from super soft 100% organic cotton. This T has been so popular it’s currently sold out. But don’t panic there’s already a fresh batch in production.

Katherena – Trunk Bag

This adorable Hollycroft trunk clutch is hot off the press! It’s from new English brand Katherena who launched just last month. Founder and designer Katie Sykes, has created a range of bags for women inspired by her father’s company Mossman Trunks. It’s the perfect size for my essentials; keys, credit card, phone and a lipstick. And I love the details, the gold metal corner covers, the croc effect, the oversized fastening and the mini key. Katie has kindly given us a 20% discount so do read on to find the code.

Skirt & Trainers

My skirt is actually the bottom half of P.i.C Style’s Bethnal Pinny, that I featured a few weeks ago. I do love that it is so versatile. And the white trainers are the ones from last week from TOMS, their Lenox Sneakers, I can see these being worn again and again. The blue nails? Well I got them done to match Daisy, as it’s currently her favourite nail colour. They kind of remind me of bubble gum flavoured ice cream.

Well here’s till next week, have a great weekend!
