If I could only buy one thing – 02

Bloggers Fashion Week

Back in 2012 Vivienne Westwood declared “My motto is ‘buy less, choose well, make it last.” It’s a principle I’d love to live by, but my reality is often so far from this. So to help us all select well this Autumn/Winter I’ve called in the help of the experts and challenged them to come up with the 1 item they’d buy. Last week fashion stylist Emma Slade Edmondson, of Charity Fashion Live, shared her pearls of wisdom. This week we have Danielle Antonio founder of Bloggers Fashion Week.

Danielle started the Bloggers Hangout just over two years ago, to offer events and gifting opportunities for new up and coming bloggers who have great content but not yet high subscriber numbers. She says “I wanted to start something that would be open to ALL bloggers and allow them to have fun whilst networking with brands and fellow bloggers within the community.” This year Bloggers Fashion Week is taking place at a new venue OXO2 and the dress code is all black chic, which I confess suits me very well as I have an entire wardrobe full of black.

Missguided Wrap Hem Dress
Q: If you could only buy one garment this AW what would it be? This wrap hem dress from Misguided. Although it’s a colder season, there tends to be a lot of parties and events going on between now and Christmas. I think it’s essential to have a dress that you style to look either casual or formal. It’s a flattering silhouette and it’s black which is always a plus in my eyes!
Q: How would you style it? With a long-line duster jacket and a clutch in neutral colours and with elegant flats because I’ve never managed to tackle heels!
