Making Life a Little Easier: Pink Parcel

Pink Parcel-9

I am naturally someone who tends to over complicate life. I think it’s because I like details, but all to often I get bogged down in them. My mother-in-law is an expert in keeping things simple, and is always reminding me to make life easier for myself. Meals don’t have to be cooked from scratch, and it doesn’t matter if the house isn’t 100% tidy. So when I came across the Pink Parcel, it occurred to me that here is an affordable way to make our lives that little bit easier. My mother-in-law would approve.

Do you ever get caught short each month? No I’m not talking about your bank balance, rather your supply of sanitary products. Perhaps this is a little too much information, but after I stopped breast-feeding Daisy Dr. Husband had to make an emergency trip to Boots; we literally had nothing in the house. The idea behind Pink Parcel, it to make sure we are never caught out by our periods again! They take the stress out of having to remember to buy products each month, by delivering them directly to the door.

For You

But it’s not just a monthly subscription to tampons. Boring. The lovely thing about receiving a Pink Parcel, is that each month you receive a little something for you. Pink Parcel have teamed up with some amazing brands to ensure you get a little pampering and a few treats in your box. The box* I received included, chocolates from Doisy & Dam, full-sized nail varnish from Opi, L’Oreal, Million Lashes mascara and a lip balm; as well as some trial size products. You also get something for intimate areas by skincare experts Sass. So it’s a bit like a glossy box, but more useful.

For NOW & Later

The other feature I really like about Pink Parcel is that you get to choose which sanitary brand you receive. They stock well-known brands such as Tampax and Always, but also more exclusive brands such as U by Kotex and Organyc, who are an organic brand. You can also pick the absorbancy required, or opt for a combination of absorbancies. Basically you can tailor your Pink Parcel to exactly what you need. They send you a little bag of products to pop in your handbag, and then your monthly supply in a separate box.

Cost?

£12.99 per month which includes the delivery. This is debited from your bank account monthly, and can be stopped/suspended anytime to account for holidays, (yeah!) getting pregnant (yeah and/or ahh!), or any other reason.

*Pink Parcel gifted me my first box, but all views above are my own.
