Pjs Good Enough to Answer the Door In

I have a weakness for luxury skincare. Whilst I was pregnant with Daisy a friend introduced me to Bloom and Blossom, award-winning skincare for pregnancy & baby. They pride themselves on only using the finest natural ingredients with absolutely no nasties. For nine months I smothered myself in their Anti Stretch Mark Oil, which thankfully worked! Now I’m such a convert, that I keep a bottle of their Indulgence Bath Oil in the bathroom cupboard for exhaustion emergencies. And with two children under three, this happens regularly.

So you can imagine my excitement when I discovered Bloom and Blossom were joining forces with another of my favourite shops, Mamas & Papas, a favourite because of their holistic approach to retail. For example, their parenting club or, in this case, collaborating with small independent brands to bring them to the mainstream. Together they’ve just launched a range of loungewear, good enough to answer the front door in. And the best part, all the styles work well with and without a bump.

I particularly love these super soft and pretty floral woven pants. The elasticated waist, with drawstring, makes them really comfy and is kind to a changing body shape. There is a strappy nursing top that goes with them, but I opted for the long sleeve top, as it’s been so chilli recently. I like the fact that it has a drawstring hem which comfortably hides a bump beneath or in my case a post-Christmas belly!

The grey striped nightdress is a great breastfeeding outfit, as it has buttons down the front. It’s also A line, which is a very flattering shape as it skims over any lumps and bumps. There are several other styles in the range, so head over to Mama & Papas for a look.
