Store of Hope

The Challenge of Buying Ethically

Do you find shopping ethically difficult? As you know over the past few months, I’ve been trying to curate a summer wardrobe entirely from ethical and sustainable brands, and it’s not been easy. Well Anna and Eeva want to change all that. Their goal is to launch an ethical and sustainable web store and so make empowering design available to the consumer.

Store of Hope

They want to bring together amazing brands and artisans from all over the globe into one place to shed light on the human stories behind every product. It’ll be called Store of Hope, and will be an international market place that will make sustainable and ethical buying so much easier. Brilliant.

The Campaign

But all this costs money! So they are attempting to raise €25,000 on Indiegogo to make this a reality. To fund this campaign they have released a collection of beautiful cashmere scarves, hats and throws made by artisans in Nepal. I have this lovely charcoal grey cashmere scarf from the collection, which has come in very handy on this cold British summer day. Dr. husband and I have already argued over whose going to wear it.  The idea is that you buy a cashmere item and then that money goes towards supporting their target. But be quick as they only have a month left to raise the funds. Anna and Eeva have been kind enough to offer all of you a secret perk if you’d like to support them in their work. Please click here to find out more.  I can’t reveal it or that would spoil the secret!

Store of Hope sounds amazing, I love it. I also LOVE your photo styling, I look a total muppet when I try to style me for pics. I am so awkward in front of the camera, I shall have to take inspiration from you x
