The Inbetweeners

DSC_1088It’s a time of year when we should all be wearing jumpers, wool coats and boots. Yet it has been unseasonably warm. They say an Englishman always talks about the weather, and rightly so as one never knows what it will do.

My solution? I’ve been living in this jumper from Finery. Have you heard of them? They are a relatively new online shop, they specialise cutting edge design and produce beautiful good quality clothes that aren’t expensive. The jumper was £45. The weight of this jumper has been perfect for this inbetweeny weather. It’s a loosely knitted mohair blend, but with a high enough total wool content (50% mohair, 31% nylon, 19% wool – mohair is wool) to keep me snuggly warm. The camel colour works well with all my other neutral clothes, one day I really will have to branch out into some colour, and feels particularly relevant with the current 70’s vibe.

The Inbetweeners

I bought these faded black jeans in the sale at ASOS for a mere £12! I’m not normally that talented when it comes to bargains. I love the mock culotte shape, 7/8” leg length and über high waist that holds everything in.

I hope the cold kicks in soon so I can get out my chunky cable knits and high-necked cuddle ups.

Love the trousers too. They were certainly a bargain!
