With two kids under three, my days of popping into town are over. So when I get the chance to go, I feel like I’m 25 again. Last week Laurie and I headed into town with some of my blogging friends. We visited TOMS HQ to find out about their latest initiative.

I admit I’m a bit like a broken record when it comes to TOMS, but that’s because they truly are a company who give back. TOMS has teamed up with WildAid to support their conservation program dedicated to the giant panda. There are fewer than x2000 giant pandas left in the world, so our cute and cuddly friends need all the help they can get. TOMS has designed these awesome camouflage style panda print shoes to help raise money to protect these majestic creatures. As with all TOMS shoes, for every pair purchased they will give a pair to a child in need #OneforOne.
We heard a short talk from Wild Aid, and I was impressed with their approach to protecting endangered species. WildAid’s aim is to stop demand for unsustainable products, with the idea that ‘when the buying stops the killing can too.’ The adults then enjoyed a yummy brunch and the kids were entertained by the amazing Sharky & George, doing Panda themed arts and crafts. As it was a nursery day for Daisy, I brought a few bits home for her so she didn’t feel left out.
I absolutely love TOMS latest collaboration. TOMS shoes are just so comfy and perfect for scamping about with the kids. Plus camo looks great with jeans. The children’s embroidered panda face shoes are so cute. Both Daisy & I adore them. As she walked in the door from nursery this evening, her first words were ‘where are my bear shoes?’
