You may have noticed mum missed last month’s update from me, sorry about that. You see I wrote it down and gave it to her, but she claimed it was illegible. So here is what’s been going on in the last two months.
Name – Daisy Annabel
Age – 29 (and a ½ ) months
Developments – I am now NAPPY FREE! Yes! For the past 6 months I have, on occasion, refused to wear a nappy in the hope my parents would understand that I wanted to wear pants. They failed to take the hint. But finally they allowed me to just wear pants – woooeee! The only downside is that they only allow me to wear one pair at a time. Mum says it creates too much washing otherwise. If it were up to me I’d wear several at a time, my record being eight pairs. Anyway, I’m delighted to tell you that I now quite happily take myself off to the toilet (potty’s are for babies) and refuse to allow my parents in to help. Independence is my middle name.
Singing – If you follow mum’s Instagram Stories, you’ll have seen me singing in the street. I’ve discovered a new love of singing at the top of my voice. You see mum’s joined a new baby choir in Crouch End, and she sings at our local church. I love to copy whatever mum does, so at our carol service on Sunday I went up the front, joined the choir and sang my own melody to Hark the Herald Angels sing.
Achievements – Meeting the “Real Ha Pig.” You may know her as Peppa Pig, but in my Daisy language it’s “Ha Pig.” Granny, Papa, Mummy, Laurie and I travelled into central London last week to see Ha Pig at the theatre! It was the most amazing experience of my life. I was mesmerised and sat still for a whole 75 minutes. We sang “Bingly Bongly Boo”, Daddy Pig got covered in sand at the sea side and Granny was coned into buying a cool swirly light thing for what mummy said was an outrageous price. What a fun day.
