I don’t know where I’d have been this summer without these Little Hotdog Watson hats. If you follow me on Instagram, you’ll have seen the kids running around in them non-stop. These hats have permanent residence in my nappy bag and even Dr. Husband has fallen head over heels. I caught him the other day saying, “those hats are brilliant. ” So I thought I better tell you why.
Technology for Kids
The material used to make these hats is seriously clever. It has UPF50+ sun protection. Incorporates buzz off mosquito repellent, which lasts for 30 washes. And successfully stops little heads from overheating with its hot/cold technology. Big tick all round.
The prints are bright, fun and contemporary. Plus they manage to be childlike without being cutesy. I love the mix/match of prints. The cub, which both Daisy and Laurie are pictured in has the tropical print on the outside, but underneath has a very cool banana print.
The cub has a roll up neck protector, which can be worn rolled up or down. When down, it adequately covers the back of the neck. Other styles, such as the Adventurer and the Pioneer also come with chin-straps in the little sizes. Essential if you have a child who is determined not to wear a hat.
The prints and styles are definitely unisex, so perfect for passing down to siblings, cousins and friends. However, it’s refreshing to see something unisex that isn’t just monochrome.
Founder, Emma brings years of experience and expertise in product development to Little Hotdog Watson, which is clear through the quality of her products. But she’s also a mama too, so this is a brand that is totally kid focused.
