What to do with precious baby clothes?

As you know, I’m a huge advocate of passing on children’s clothes. An item of kids clothing normally has a life beyond its first wearer, to sibling, cousin and friend. But, even for me there are some clothes that I just can’t bear to part with; the dress I brought Daisy home from hospital in and the cardi her great Grandma knitted her. But what do you do with them? It seems a shame to put them in a box in loft, out of sight.
